Middletown Christian Preschool and Kindergarten is committed to offering a quality weekday program that provides a safe and nurturing environment reflecting Christian attitudes and Christian love.
We believe preschool age children learn primarily through play. Our classrooms encourage active involvement and meaningful experimentation. Knowing that children also need routine in their lives, we schedule each program to offer a balance of structure and free choice as well as quiet and active times.
In our learning centers, you will see:
- warm, supportive teachers who are actively involved in guiding and encouraging children to learn
- abundant space for open-ended activities to encourage active participation and provide experiences that will stimulate creating thinking and action
- a large variety of material with which to create
- concrete activities involving sensory and motor experiences
- freedom to explore
- children having fun, talking, pretending, sharing and laughing
