At Middletown Christian Church we are building a culture of generosity. The Bible says, “We reap what we sow.” So it’s got to be best to sow generously, right? In fact the author of Proverbs states, “The world of generous gets larger and larger while the world of the stingy gets smaller and smaller.”
Choosing generosity is pivotal to the health of our spiritual life. In order to make giving to God our highest priority, we must give to God first, give to God faithfully, and give to God progressively. Our decision to invest in what God is doing not only builds the Kingdom but forms us in the likeness of Christ.

Financial Peace University
In order to be generous, it is necessary to first put your own financial house in order. Twice a year, MCC offers a series of classes designed to teach people and families how to get out of debt, stay out of debt, and build wealth. Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University is a 13-week program completed by over 650,000 families nationwide. On average, they pay off $5,300 in debt and save $2,700 in just 13 weeks. That's an $8,000 change in position in just 91 days!
