It's All About the Mission!
We strive to nurture a “servant’s heart” in our youth and youth leaders. About half of our youth group events are outreach events. Serving others is what we do best!
Our annual Choir trips for Genesis and Revelations are considered mission trips where we share the gospel in word and song.
The annual Youth Mission Trip in July gives youth the opportunity to live together in peace and work to make a difference in someone’s life. All youth have an opportunity to earn their way on the trip. Life skills and cherished memories shared by all.
Throughout the year, the youth work with a local ministry to feed the homeless. On the second Sunday of every month, youth and their parents meet the youth minister bright and early at church to prepare food. Once things are hot and ready, the group journeys to Waterfront Park to serve food and lead worship for 100-200 homeless people.
