Serve Teams

External Missions
Our call to serve extends beyond the walls of this church. As a congregation and in small groups, MCC provides hands-on service and financial support to community and non-profit agencies who serve those in need. Our teams help groups and individuals engage in hands-on ministry through local and global partnerships such as Eastern Area Community Ministries, Summit Academy, Week of Compassion and more.

Team Ministries
Ministry teams are the building blocks for advancing the Kingdom Now! You can assist individuals in identifying their spiritual gifts and passions and help them to connect to a wide variety of serving opportunities. Our teams provide ongoing support for team leaders and promote team needs, serve as Connection Point hosts, identify and track ministry opportunities as well as conduct ministry placement interviews.

Extending a radical welcome is a priority in all that we do! Hospitality teams plan and host a variety of special events such as fellowship gatherings, training sessions, and community events hosted within our church facility. Teams create a welcoming environment and look for creative ways to celebrate our ministry efforts throughout the year. Serving opportunities include event hosts and greeters, cooking teams, decorating teams, event set-up and tear-down teams, and more.

Recreation
Whether at the church or away, recreation is an important way to build community. Teams help connect people to the life and ministry of the church through activities like basketball and softball. The MCC Recreation Team partners with Middletown United Methodist to host Upward Basketball and Cheerleading each winter.
