In tune with our Kingdom Now vision, the goal of evangelism at Middletown Christian Church is to invite people into a transforming relationship with Christ by demonstrating God’s available love and forgiveness and calling them into discipleship now! We don’t care about attendance numbers or membership rolls; other than the fact that numbers represent people, and people matter to God!
We want to connect people with the transforming power of Christ. So at MCC we cultivate a culture of personal invitation. We equip people with the encouragement and the tools to extend a personal invitation to friends and neighbors to explore discipleship through worship, fellowship and service.
What’s more we work to extend a radical welcome to all who grace our doors. From warm and friendly greeters to a “mugging team” who reaches out to newcomers, to sharing a fellowship meal with key staff, we want people to feel welcome to explore Christian faith and our church at their own pace, no pressure.
