Community Partnerships
Family Scholar House
Family Scholar House, formerly known as Project Women, is changing lives, families, and communities through education. Their organization aims to end the cycle of poverty by giving single-parent students the support they need to achieve a four-year college degree.
Louisville Central Community Center
Louisville Central Community Center (LCCC) began its proud tradition of services in 1948 as the “Market Street Neighborhood House," which was born out of the historic "settlement house movement." This movement, which was founded in London in 1884, was later brought to the United States in 1889 by Jane Addams, the first American woman to be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in recognition of her advocacy for the poor. LCCC is the widely recognized leader committed to employing self-reliance practices to ensure that children blossom, adults achieve, and neighborhoods thrive.
