HAND IN HAND MINISTRIES - APPALACHIA /files/MCC Pictures/Serve/Mission Trips/Appalachia-2010-trip-Linda.jpg
June 29-July 2 (Wednesday-Saturday)
Want to serve somewhere a little closer to home? Immerse yourself in nearby Appalachia. Help fix a roof, build a wheelchair ramp, or perhaps listen to an old man’s story of God’s blessing in his life.

Enjoy the natural beauty of Eastern Kentucky share with other participants, and learn more about this impoverished region less than a day’s drive from home.

YOUTH MISSION - GREENEVILLE, TN
July 24-29 (Sunday-Friday)
/files/MCC Pictures/Serve/Mission Trips/Youth-Mission-2010-Rachel-etc.jpgFor several years, the youth of MCC have journeyed to north central Tennessee near the Daniel Boone Nat’l Forest to serve. Lodging at a community center, the youth and their chaperones do whatever is needed to help residents of the community. Usually the work involves repair, construction, cleaning and children's ministry.

Youth, grades 6-12, are welcome along with chaperones. Cost: $225
Fundraising opportunities will be offered.

FAMILY MISSION TRIP:
Meridzo Center Ministries - Appalachia
September 1-5 (Labor Day Weekend)/files/MCC Pictures/Serve/Mission Trips/meridzo-painting.jpg
Since 1999, Meridzo Center Ministries missionaries have served thousands in Harlan County (KY) by providing basic necessities and construction services. Additionally, they help with job training and the creation of new ministry-related businesses. MCC is partnering with Meridzo this fall to offer our first domestic Family Mission Trip. The project will be designed for people of all ages and all abilities.

LOMA DE LUZ - HONDURAS/files/MCC Pictures/Serve/Mission Trips/Honduras-2010-trip-Marla-and-Hal.jpg
Approximately one week in the Fall
Help demonstrate MCC's ongoing commitment to global missions during the 7th annual trip to the Loma de Luz Hospital in Honduras. This 50-bed, 30,000-square-foot full-service medical care facility that treats an average of 900 patients a month in clinic and  outpatient surgery, plus many more in triage.

MCC volunteers help renovate existing buildings as well as assist in improving existing structures. A Fall trip is planned for 2011.

Our next international family trip to the Pan de Vida Orphanage in Queretaro, Mexico is planned for spring or summer 2012. Plan ahead to join us on our 2012 trip to Pan de Vida.
