Wed., May 7 — 6-8 p.m. Long Run Park W.O.W. kids & parents, bring a picnic meal, lawn chairs and your fishing gear or outdoor toys and spend a few hours celebrating a wonderful year of W.O.W.! Directions available at the MC Park Sign In Desk "All Men's Choir" to Perform on Mother's Day
Looking for an easy way to volunteer in the choir? Try the All Men's Choir! They will sing on Mother's Day for the Traditional (9 a.m.) and the Disciple (11 a.m.) worship services. Volunteers are needed to assist with Sunday worship services and serving in-home communion at Middletown Christian Village. If you are looking for an opportunity to serve our Middletown Christian Village residents by enhancing their worship experience, this might just be the thing for you! No experience necessary. Seeking Volunteers for Hospital Visitation Team
The MCC Hospital Visitation Team is seeking volunteers to carry our radical love to those in local hospitals. Teams serve on a rotational basis. Training is provided. If you're looking for an opportunity to serve, contact Bill Wead, 412-4744 or wbwead01@louisville.edu.
Honduras Quatro - May 5
In 2008, MCC will send its 4th team to Honduras to support the missionaries at Loma de Luz, the Christian hospital which serves over 50,000 peasants and Mestizo Indians each year. We're looking for a team of volunteers with a heart for serving to join us on this mission of a lifetime. Want to hear more? New Women's Bible Study Group - Begins May 7

Seniors Ministry Team Meeting - May 8
MCC is seeking caring, loving and encouraging people who are interested in serving on a newly developing team that will work together to provide care, support and love to our senior adults. Serving opportunities are listed on the next page. If you have a heart for our seniors, you're invited to attend an initial team meeting at 6:30 p.m., Thurs., May 8 in Training Room A (111A). Singles Second Saturday Gathering - May 10

June/July Newsletter Deadline - May 12
We will be combining the June and July newsletters this year. The combined edition will be mailed in late May. Anything that should be included in this two-month edition should be sent to Scheri Mullins, director of communications, no later than May 12. Send your articles to Scheri at newsletter@middletownchristian.org. Anything not received by May 12 will be included in the August newsletter.
Primetimers Trip to Owenton, KY for Lunch & a Show - RSVP by May 15
The Primetimers, MCC's group for adults 50+, will take a Toby Tour to Owenton, KY to see "Home 'N the Hills" on June 11. Lunch and the show at Kentucky Jamboree (with the Robinson family doing music from the 20's-50's, bluegrass & gospel) are included in the trip. Cost per person is $58.
