Reading materials include historical and biographical works, fiction and non-fiction, science fiction and works by local authors. Usually have a speaker. Spend time praying for MCC members who are on prayer list and send cards weekly. Each person does an individual square or piece for a quilt. During monthly meeting the quilt top pieced together. Once top is together, the quilt is sent to a quilting group to be finished. The finished quilt is then raffled with proceeds to support different needs within MCC. No one turned away. All levels of sewing skills are accepted - members can teach anyone what they need to know.
