Exploring the Way

Description: Exploring the Way looks at spiritual disciplines like centering, prayer, journaling and a few others in a small group setting. This group is a great introduction for those looking into exploring small group life and spiritual growth.

Finding Your Purpose

Description: This is a three-session series designed to help you discover your spiritual gifts and passions and help you connect with serving opportunities inside and outside Middletown Christian Church.

Free to Serve

Description: This is a two-week series designed to give you the tools and help you develop the skills you need to control your finances through budgeting and financial planning.

Stepping Into the Bible

Women - any age
Meets first and third Tuesday every month at 7 p.m. at Cindy Bradley's home, 11704 Herrick Lane, Middletown.

Description: Step Into the Bible. Visualize that you are there. Listening. Observing. Asking questions. Journal what you see and hear. Let God speak to you through this unusual approach to the Bible.

(Pronounced Kwah-No-Nee-Ah)

Women - any age
Meet every other Monday at MCC, but on break until November when construction on church will be complete. In November the group will begin the Beth Moore study on Daniel.

Description: Group works specifically on Beth Moore's Bible Studies. Studies are extremely enriching, increasing your Bible knowledge, but also building caring, supportive friendships. Group meets for 2-1/2 hours each session and there is a commitment required to complete the study's homework.

D.I.V.A.
(Divine Inspiration for a Victorious Attitude)

Women - all ages
During school year meet Tuesdays at 7 p.m. at Barnes & Noble on Hurstbourne Lane. In the summer, group meets socially once a month.

Description: This group wants to grow spiritually through reading inspirational books and developing friendships where we feel comfortable sharing, learning, laughing, and caring for one another and serving others. Studying the Scriptures that the weekly sermon is based on.

Wednesday Evening Adult Bible Study

All Adults are welcome.
Meet every Wednesday at 6 p.m. at MCC but break during the summer.

Description: Study selected books of the Bible to gain a deeper understanding of God's word using a "read-and-discuss method", not lecture.

Thursday Women's Bible Study

Women - all ages
Meet Thursdays 1 - 2:30 p.m.

Description: Current study is focused on the book, "Lord Heal My Hurts", by Kay Arthur. We are also building friendships to support and care for each other.

Blended Family Workshop

Families are welcomed.
This group will meet quarterly or more often (at MCC or other locations) to discuss issues that involve the many ways families are blending to meet their needs. If you are part of a stepfamily, a grandparent caring for grandchildren, a single parent juggling a job and parenting, multi-generational living together... join us.

Description: Working together to deal with today's blended family issues by reaching out to God's love, with support and guidance. Workshops will be scheduled soon.

Men's Sunday Night Bible Study

Men - all ages
Meet Sunday evening from 6-7:30 p.m. in Conference Room at MCC

Description: In-depth analysis of a book in the Bible and how it works in our lives today. We hold a non-attribution policy - "what is said there...stays there." This provides a safe, trusting atmosphere for personal issues to be shared.

Women - All ages
Meet 2nd and 4th Monday of the month at 7 p.m. at members' homes.

Description: The group alternates between book and Bible studies. Offers a supportive and caring environment with lots of laughter and friendship.
